Professional Security System Installation Made Easy
How to Program a New DSC Keyfob

All you need to program your new keyfob is it's six digit serial number (ESN).
It's located on a sticker attached to back of the keyfob.
Note: DSC uses Hex digits in it's wireless device ESN designations. Hex digit entries work like this:

A = * 1
B = * 2
C = * 3
D = * 4
E = * 5
F = * 6

So, you press * to enter Hex mode, then use digits 1 -  6 to represent A - F, simple enough.  But here's the tricky part, after you press * to enter Hex mode the system stays in Hex mode until you press * again.

To enter a six digit ESN of 648FE8 my actual key presses would be:

6 4 8 * 6 5 * 8

Use the guide below to complete your installation.
Step 1 - Enter System Programming

System programming is entered by pressing * 8 then the installer code. The factory installer code is 5555.

Press * 8 5555

The keypad will chirp five times and the armed led will light to indicate the system is waiting for you to enter the three digit programming section you want to program.
Step 2 - Program Your Wireless Key

Section 804 is the wireless device programming section:

Press 804 to enter wireless programming

Slot 41 is the first of sixteen wireless key slots:

Press 41

You'll now enter the six digit ESN from the sticker on the back of your wireless key:

Enter the six digit ESN

Now exit programming programming by pressing the # key twice:

Press # #

That's it! You've now programmed your new DSC wireless key
