Location 29 is where we enable the Long Range Radio (LRR for short) feature of the Vista 20P. In older Vista 20P panels this is as simple as:

1) Enter *29 (pause) (three beeps)
2) Enter 1  (pause) (three beeps)

On newer panels:

1) Enter *29
2) "Enable IP / GSM?" is displayed
      Enter 1, then * to store it
     "1=Prog, 2=Diag, 0=Quit" is displayed
      Enter 0, then * to exit *29 mode

Essentially, no matter what version of Vista 20P software you're working with, you simply need to enable the LRR function, no advanced diagnostics or programming is required.
