Honeywell keypads connect to the ECP data bus of the Vista 20P. The ECP data bus is used to communicate will all kinds of peripheral devices (not just keypads) so to keep things organized Honeywell has set aside certain addresses for each type of device. Addresses 16 through 23 are the possible keypad addresses, so keypad one will be on address 16 and keypad eight will be on address 23. Only keypad one (address 16) is factory enabled, any additional keypads will need to have  their address enabled in the Vista 20P in order to function.
