Go to the existing keypad to be replaced and press the 1 and 3 keys at the same time, hold for several seconds, the current keypad address should pop up on the display. This is the address the new keypad will need to be set to. If something other than a two digit number is displayed the existing keypad may be an "RF" model that the system is using to communicate with wireless devices. In these cases you can simply re-install the existing keypad next to the Vista 20P control panel to be used as a wireless receiver, the replacement keypad will then need to be installed as a new addition, see "How to Add a Honeywell Keypad".
