Step 3 of 6 : Enable the zone as a wireless zone
The system has to know that you intend to use a wireless device on a specific zone. We want to enable zone 17 as a wireless zone, we do this by going to zone 17's attribute programming section (section 117)
Press 117 to enter zone 17 attributes
Press 8 to select zone 17 as a wireless zone
Press # to exit section 117
The red armed light will be lit to indicate the system is waiting for the next three digit program section to be selected.
Note: If you're adding more than one wireless zone you'll need to select them as wireless as well. As noted above section 117 is zone 17's attribute section, section 118 will be zone 18's attribute section, and so on all the way to zone 32 at section 132.
