These are used for switching small loads, or to allow the use of 2-wire smoke detectors. They can also be used to provide an output for L.E.D.'s. The typical do-it-yourself system won't need to make use of these outputs.

This is the typical use of the PGM terminals. Power to the 2-wire smoke is provided by aux positive, negative is supplied by PGM 2. PGM outputs need to be programmed in location 009 of the control panel's program.
